This screenshot shows in general the features of the demo application. It mainly consists of two windows: an editor window on the left (partly covered by the menu in this screenshot) and a preview window showing the transformation result on the fly. The application lets you open, close, save, print and export files, and it is possible to switch templates using the "Template" menu. Every action in the editor is captured and after a short idle time, the preview is refreshed. If the text is done, it is possible to export it into various formats, depending on the template. The template defines serializer pipelines, that are used to export the transformation result. In this case, a letter template (in German "Brief") is shown, allowing to export into XML (just containing the plain structure) and into PDF.
